We fell in love with this house in 2020: it has the best location in the middle of the old Borgo of Moltrasio, it is independently standing and not attached to another house, it is 40 stone steps away from the best Lake Como Gelato, which is next to a wonderful cafe at Piazza Martino, and a number of wonderful restaurants are is just a few minutes walk away. The Como Lake public boat stop and the Lido di Moltrasio (Lake Swimming and Restaurant) are just a few minutes away.

The house extends over two levels, has a beautiful garden, a higher terrace with a lake and beautiful Borgo views, and a small creek runs by it on one side. In the lower level of the house is a small garage and a separate full-size garage belonging to house is located 100 meters away. 

After purchasing the old house, we fully renovated the house and made it "greener" too. We added insulation, new triple glass windows, high security insulated entrance doors, a modern hybrid heating/cooling  system, an active air circulation system (Zehnder), solar panels with battery storage system.
